Multi-Pipe Solutions

Ideal for hotels, hospitals, and mixed-use buildings requiring simultaneous heating and cooling zones.

Trane Multi-Pipe Units — Simultaneous Heating and Cooling

A multi-pipe (or 4-pipe) unit is a single machine that produces chilled water and hot water at the same time. In any building where some zones need cooling while others need heating — hotels, hospitals, offices, shopping centres — a multi-pipe unit recovers the heat it would otherwise reject and reuses it, instead of running a separate chiller and boiler. The result is dramatically lower energy use and a smaller plant room. As the authorized Trane distributor in Georgia, Treimax supplies, sizes, installs and maintains the full Trane multi-pipe range.

Trane multi-pipe units cover 80 to 755 kW and run in up to six operating modes — cooling only, heating only, and four simultaneous heat-recovery modes — delivering hot water up to 60 °C and operating in heating mode down to −15 °C ambient. By reusing recovered heat, they reach total efficiencies that a separate chiller-plus-boiler system simply cannot match.

Why a Trane Multi-Pipe Unit

Free Heating From Recovered Energy

Whenever the building cools and heats at once, a multi-pipe unit reuses the rejected heat for free hot water — cutting total energy use by up to 50% versus a separate chiller and boiler.

Authorized Trane Distributor in Georgia

Treimax supplies genuine Trane multi-pipe units with full factory warranty, OEM spare parts and direct factory support — not grey-market imports.

One Machine Instead of Two

A multi-pipe unit replaces both a chiller and a boiler, freeing plant-room space and simplifying maintenance. Our engineers size, install and maintain it for decades of rated performance.

Multi-Pipe Unit FAQ

A multi-pipe unit is a single packaged machine that simultaneously produces chilled water and hot water from independent circuits. It lets one building zone be cooled while another is heated, using the same unit — ideal for buildings with mixed simultaneous loads.
